چکیده
Catalytic upgrading of fast pyrolysis bio-oil from two different types lignocellulosic biomass was conducted using an H-ZSM-5 catalyst at temperatures. A fixed-bed reactor has been used to perform in situ catalytic experiments temperatures 673, 773, and 873 K, where the (H-ZSM-5) mixed with wood chips or lignin, processes have performed simultaneously. The fractionation method employed determine chemical composition samples after by gas chromatography mass spectroscopy (GCMS). Other characterization techniques, e.g., water content, viscosity, elemental analysis, pH, bomb calorimetry used, obtained results compared non-catalytic method. highest yield reported for softwood K both samples. indicate that main effect observed on amount oxygen all three temperatures, a significant reduction achieved In addition, viscosity samples, less viscous produced pyrolysis. Furthermore, show heating values increased upgraded GCMS analysis indicates toluene methanol shown very similar behavior extracting contrast experiments. However, better chemicals higher temperature.

Upgrading of Pyrolysis Bio-oil: A Review
The increase in the population of the planet and the rapid economic growth and, consequently, the high consumption of energy has created many environmental problems in the globe. Due to these reasons and the lack of renewability of these fossil fuels, there has been a steep trend towards the production of renewable fuels from natural sources, one of which is the production of energy from biomas...

متن کاملIn situ catalytic hydrogenation of model compounds and biomass-derived phenolic compounds for bio-oil upgrading
The renewable phenolic compounds produced by directional liquefaction of biomass are a mixture of complete fragments decomposed from native lignin. These compounds are unstable and difficult to use directly as biofuel. Here, we report an efficient in situ catalytic hydrogenation method that can convert phenolic compounds into saturated cyclohexanes. The process has high potential for production...
متن کاملPhenol and phenolics from lignocellulosic biomass by catalytic microwave pyrolysis.
Catalytic microwave pyrolysis of biomass using activated carbon was investigated to determine the effects of pyrolytic conditions on the yields of phenol and phenolics. The high concentrations of phenol (38.9%) and phenolics (66.9%) were obtained at the temperature of 589 K, catalyst-to-biomass ratio of 3:1 and retention time of 8 min. The increase of phenol and its derivatives compared to pyro...
